Women Empowerment Programme
Mission:
The mission of the Women Empowerment Programme was to promote self-reliance and economic empowerment among women by providing them with practical vocational skills and entrepreneurial opportunities. The programme aimed to enhance the confidence, creativity, and income-generating capabilities of women, enabling them to contribute effectively to their families and society.
Training:
A special vocational training programme of 3–4 days duration was organized for women focusing on the preparation of traditional food products such as pickles (Achar), papad, and vadi. During the training sessions, participants were provided with comprehensive practical and theoretical knowledge regarding the preparation process, quality maintenance, packaging techniques, hygiene standards, and small-scale business opportunities. A large number of women actively participated in the programme and enthusiastically learned various skills that can help them become self-employed and financially independent.
Result:
The training programme proved to be highly successful and beneficial for the participating women. The beneficiaries gained valuable practical knowledge and developed skills related to food processing and entrepreneurship. The programme enhanced their confidence and encouraged them to explore self-employment opportunities. At the conclusion of the training programme, certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their successful completion and active participation, motivating them to utilize their newly acquired skills for their personal and economic development.
